The 18 Hole Golf Course and Practice Center is conveniently located, close to Highway 95, on Providence Highaway (Route 1) in Norwood, behind the Chateau Restaurant and Hampton Inn.   Norwood Country Club was designed by Sam Mitchell and built by Frank Simoni in 1975.

Norwood Country Club is a PAR 71 - 6009 yard layout with fairly flat terrain and medium sized, well manicured putting surfaces.  The course is a great place to learn, hold an outing, or run a league. 

The club features a lighted practice range, chipping and putting green, a nicely stocked pro shop and cocktail lounge with flat screen televisions, a billiards table, and plenty of seating to watch games or televised tournaments.

The 2010 Open League will be a brand new league at Norwood Country Club.  Golfers will have the opportunity to play in a league setting with a variety of fun and exciting formats.  Our 2010 Open League will be open to anybody.  Participants will be encouraged to obtain an official Handicap Index so that they can be included in the league prize system.  Fifty percent of our field will be paid out each week.  Open League tee times will start Mondays at 4:30PM.   EachEntry Fee will include: Greens Fees, Golf Car, and Prize Fund.  Entries can be made up to one week in advance.  Please sign up early to reserve your spots.

The 2010 Inner Club will be yet another great opportunity to play golf in a fun and competitive atmosphere.  There will be a variety of different formats throughout the 2010 season including Skins Games, Individual and Team Events, and a Match Play Tournament.  All members will obtain an Official Handicap Index so that competition among players of all skill levels will be equitable and fair.  The 2010 Inner Club would be perfect for any golfer that has progressed out of the beginning phase of their skill development and has begun to play on a regular basis.  Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to play the game of golf in a variety of tournament scenarios.   Please view the Tournament Schedule below. 

A wonderful opportunity for all players who are looking a regular Skins Game.  The 2010 Skins Game Series is open to anyone who carries a handicap and will run from June 5 to August 28 every Saturday at 7AM.  All contestants must be able to produce an Official Handicap Index at the time of check in.  Please contact the pro shop to enter.  Each games pot will be halved and dispersed to GROSS and NET Skins.  One dollar from each entry will be held for a progressive pot that will be dispersed to the players holding the most Skins at the end of the series.
